What we are doing to keep your child safe
We recognize that sending your child to SEARCH may come with some concerns in regards to the health and safety of your teenager and family.
We have been working carefully with the Bishop's office, the Office of Catholic Schools, and others to ensure our health and safety policies are in line with those you are already seeing in your parish and school communities.
Our policies and changes to our regular SEARCH weekend are as follows:- Students will be encouraged to wear masks indoors at all times.
- Instead of sharing any writing utensils or supplies at each small group table, each student will be given a personal bag full of everything they will need for their SEARCH weekend.
- Spray bottles of hand sanitizer will be distributed to each small group and will be used when entering or exiting shared group spaces.
- Temperatures will be taken twice a day and any other symptoms or illnesses will be monitored closely by the adult staff.
- Registration numbers have been capped to allow for 6+ feet of distancing in all sleeping areas. Each child should have room to comfortably distance in gathered spaces.
